What's Next

Quick note to keep everyone up to speed:

With Gods of the Game #3's first draft finished, I'm going to do a read through/polish this week, then send it over to my copy editor. That should take 2 - 3 days.

I'm going to a writing retreat this Thurs - Sun, and plan to use that time to prep for Throne Hunters #5, #6, and #7, which I'll write in a continuous arc over the next 8 months. I'll be returning to my 3/week chapter posting rate, M/W/F, and will only accelerate that frequency once I've built up a solid backlog once more.

Once I finish the Throne Hunters series (mid-2026), I'm going to do the same for Immortal Great Souls, writing #5, #6, and #7, which should take me a year? Maybe a little longer? At which point I'll only owe Skadi's Saga #3, which will finish off all my current series.

What then? I'm not sure. I'll see what the landscape and my interests look like, but for the first time in forever I'll have a clean slate with which to plan my next move!

Thanks for your support, and I hope you guys are ready for the wild final books of Throne Hunters - I plan to turn everything up to 11.

Yes, I think this is the way to go. I love sharing chapters as soon as I write them, but that results in quiet periods between works/during editing/etc.

Hi Phil, have you thought about maintaining the 3/week even after completing to give you a growing buffer/extra time to either relax/edit/do any other work?

Love how consistent you are with releases. Gotg has been sitting in my kindle library, so glad to be able to read it all in one go. I know Skadis Saga was cut short, but can't help selfishly hoping that it finds a second life on patreon.
