Sorry, the coffee hasn't quite kicked in yet.

So! My copy editor, the redoubtable Scott Moreland, accomplished the impossible yesterday and finished editing all 260k words of The Lost Cube before heading out on his two week Fall vacation. I thought I'd be waiting till the end of October for the finished manuscript, but instead have it right here, hot off the presses and right out the oven, ready for review and then to be sent on to Podium.

Which is fantastic, as it means I'll be meeting my audiobook delivery deadline, and won't be trying Mr. Podehl's patience the lightest. Other than asking him to do Nox's voice far more than any other previous book.

That being said, I'm going to dive right into a big reread/edit of The Lost Cube's manuscript this week so as to deliver it to Podium by Friday. If I knock out 13 chapters/day, I'll be right on target. That means I won't be starting Gods of the Game #3 as planned, and for that can only apologize and ask for your continued patience.

How about we do some other fun stuff this week to pass the time? I could post my first failed stab at writing Bastion (comically inept, but with glimmers of what was to come), or host a Q&A. More concept art? Let me know if anything in particular appeals.
