The Dungeon

This graphic illustrates the 100 levels of the Dungeon in terms of which levels can be accessed via the Dungeon Portal. The first dozen levels (the 'Iron' levels) are accessed via the pentagonal faces of the polyhedron, while the remaining ones are through triangular facets.
Quick aside: the Iron, Copper, etc Gates are a creations of Flutic; the polyhedron doesn't care from where you trigger a portal, but the nobility decided to stratify things for the same reason nobles always do.
Also, the Scales column shows on which level certain kinds of scales begin to appear, as well as what you must show to the polyhedron to be taken there. So if you wished to visit the 63rd Level, you would need a Twilight Infinitum on hand (no mean feat), and your defeated foes would generate Infinitums for you to collect.
Finally, the Artifact column shows at which level different rarities of Artifacts begin to show. You want a Mythic Artifact? Head on down to the 93rd Level. Easy peasy.

2024-05-22 21:54:03 +0000 UTCIs this information readily available to the MCs? Also, if entering even the level 70s is such a big deal and rare, how do they know what the 80s and 90s have? Or is this meta knowledge that no one in-story knows?
