Scales in Thrones of the Fallen

Power and currency in the metropolis of Flutic comes in the form of scales. These are harvested from the depths of the vast dungeon beneath the city, salvaged from the divine corpse of the Fallen Angel and brought to light to both ignite the economic engine of the continent and empower the greatest heroes with magical might. This chart is meant to facilitate the reader's understanding of how the scales relate to each other in value, with the humble Copper Crescent as the base unit. Hope it helps!

Thanks! I think I linked to this at the bottom of the first chapter, but a refresher couldn't hurt.

You should put some written version of this on RR. While reading there I was so confused for the initial chapters as to how much each scale is valued because there wasn't one clear cut explanation. Loving the series so far tho!

Great question. The Radiant Dawn must have been a leftover typo - earlier, the scales had more complex names, and that's a vestige of that fact. I'll hunt it down and eliminate it. But in short, one cannot condense scales into each other; either you absorb them, or trade them for their lesser counterparts. Cheers!

Are there condensed versions of scales? There was mention of a “radiant dawn” in chapter two and I was wondering if that’s a special version of a golden dawn (ex. 100 in 1 scale).

Photoshop! I generated the scales with Midjourney, then put the actual table together in Photoshop, then had a friend finesse it to make it look good.

How did you make this? It's incredibly useful and I would love to make one for my currency.
