Deep black, cold sea

Okay so these were made for a little music video I made for a RPG I was part of for several years. I'm hesitant to share the video as I've grown pretty cringy over it... But here's some frames.

It tells the key points of Goro (mine) and Lucky 's (kissun.art on IG) story before its end. The RPG setting was a prison tower for deviants who could turn into animals, thus break havoc and be considered as a threat to the Society. Goro was a doberman, Lucky a killer whale.

1. New to the prison, Goro is reqruiting a bunkmate after falling out with his estranged husband. As Lucky (who has been there since childhood) promises to get him a pony, Goro finds him hilarious and chooses him.

2. Goro establishes a brothel, Get Junk, as his business in the dog-eat-dog Tower. This is actually a fake front for his true and obsessive plan, which is to gather materials and wealth for a bomb that would free him from the windowless fortress. Lucky becomes his doorman, unofficial bodyguard, and part of his secret bomb squad.

3. Time goes by as they work their secret plan. There's not many ways to pass the time in the Tower, so they often play with rubber bands while conversing. Goro promises to show Lucky the real world and to bring him to the ocean once they get out. There's feelings. Lucky falls in love, or at least states that with Goro his heart hurts.

4. Lucky loses control and bowls over 10+ prisoners, killing them. Goro stops him and negotiates him from the biggest trouble with the Guard, but the thing is, Goro also found violent Lucky beautiful and didn't care about the lifes lost. They're both bad people.

(Bomb materials almost done, Lucky gets mad at Goro for keeping on being involved with other people although they have something special between them. They fight some, but Goro is getting more and more obsessed with escape.)

5. To a desperate attempt to win Goro's final affections, Lucky goes on his own to steal the bleach their plan needs. In the deed he gets bitten by a deviant in their venomous snake form. Goro gets his bleach, the bomb is almost ready and the future outside the Tower awaits, but Lucky dies.

During his last days in the tower Goro was driven so far that he kept seeing and talking to Lucky who wasn't there. He ended up whacking his tooth off to carry to the sea. Finally, after almost two years, his squad finished the bomb and blowed up the wall. The prisoners either escaped or were killed in the rubble.

Goro finally got his escape, and later in his life got involved in politics to fight against the oppression towards deviants, actually recognizing them as the apex race. In the end he did sail to the ocean and dropped Lucky's tooth in the depths.
