Scenes like these make me a little uncomfortable to make public. Whenever characters have to explain things that are very relevant to the plot (thus needing extra thought for wording) but possibly dull to listen (how the world functions, herds work, big themes like religion), I get a little embarrassed. Whileas I believe tropes have become tropes for a reason, godly things in the sky are a very overused trope and I understand why the repetition might annoy someone. Bear with me! There's big themes in this story, but I'll always treasure the down-to-earth way of dealing with them.
