I can assure you i felt happy to be able to support you here and at no point felt odd about it for neither you nor me :D I feel about it like paying a fee for state TV... just tenfold better.

I mean it. I don't want you to delay becoming independent from YT just cause you're apprehentious to announce it. You did it with your streams too, and those worked out fine. Just realize that you're nearly at 25% of your first milestone from the people that will support you in any way they can find, and actively looked up this place after the rumours spread. Imagine what those who would donate to your streams could raise it to. If every person that ever complained about the intro disappearing pledges 1-2 bucks, you're pretty much at $1000 milestone already.
