December Progress Journal #1
Added 2024-12-05 22:00:12 +0000 UTCGreetings Mythicists! I hope your December is going well, and your player character's aren't drinking too much egg nog.
There's lots going on here! Here's a peek ...

Mythic GME 2e Offset Edition
The high quality, offset press printing of Mythic Game Master Emulator Second Edition is done and floating somewhere out there in the Pacific Ocean, heading for my home state of California. I have a couple copies of the book, and it looks great :)
I've made arrangements with Indie Press Revolution and Modiphius to sell the book online in the US. Modiphius will open pre-sales in mid December, and actual book sales for both sites should take place no later than late January.
I'm excited to get this offset edition out, since it's not only the best version of the book but this helps me get accustomed to a print-to-distributor pipeline for future books. It's a learning process!

Mythic Magazine Compilation #7 Print On Demand Edition
Mythic Magazine Compilation #7 came out in PDF last month, and I'm working on getting the POD version through DTRPG going. I hope to have this available in February. It's not difficult to do since I'm just compiling 6 issues of the magazine together, but the time consuming part is making sure everything plays together nicely, there are no weird bits hidden anywhere, and waiting for print proofing copies to arrive.
Next Books Taking Shape
In addition to the monthly magazine, I always have three new books in the works at a time. Those three books right now are: Mythic Roleplaying Second Edition, Micro Mythic, and Mythic Magazine Compilation #8.
Mythic RPG2e and Micro Mythic have been in development for some time, and are moving along well. I'm expecting a large batch of artwork from Jorge this month to plug in to both books. My line editor, Mel, has also been hard at work on those two books so I'm happy with the progress.
I'm just getting started on putting the next magazine Compilation together, #8. This one collects issues 43-48. I had been working on The Dungeon Crafter, but MMC#8 displaced it as it should get done before too much time passes.
Working on all these books at the same time has the inevitable effect of some of it bleeding into the monthly magazine, which I like as it gives me a laboratory to work out some of the mechanics that are in the works. The magazine has already seen some content that comes from both Mythic RPG 2e and Micro Mythic (for instance, this past issue with Steal The Rebellion! pulled heavily from both sources).
Deadworld Dome Sheets
Some of you have asked to see the character sheets and other forms I'm using for the Deadworld Dome series on the podcast, so here they are! This is Vi's character sheet, the adventure lists, and the setting sheet.

I'm sorry that they are all a mess, but that's just how I fill these things out lol I use some shorthand in there too, so when you see the occasional slash mark ("/") it's shorthand for "th" and a little o ("o") is shorthand for "ing" to save time and space when writing. I've been doing that most of my life so it's just habit now.
The character sheet is from Mythic RPG 2e, although the current version in the book is a little different from this one. The setting page is also from MRPG2e and you can see that it differs slightly from the one in Mythic Magazine #38.
I think that's it for now! Thank you for being a Patron of my Patreon! Our adventures continue :)
Comments
Thanks Kevin! I'm really enjoying making it, and I'm glad it's given you some validation :) The offset edition will be available in two US locations, Indie Press Revolution and US Modiphius. If all goes well, it may also be available through Modiphius UK, but I'm not sure when that would happen.

2024-12-09 22:53:39 +0000 UTCI've been listening to the Deadworld Dome series and am up to scene 5. This is so awesome to listen to, Tana! It is really interesting for one, but also helps to "validate" some of the things I've done with Mythic that are now "okay". :D Thanks for doing the series. Will the Offset Edition of GME be purchasable in Europe?
