Mythic Magazine #48 Content Poll

What's this?!? Down at the bottom of your Halloween pumpkin bag, past all the candy, is a new Mythic Magazine Content poll!

Welcome Tier 3 Mythicists! I hope your Novembers have started off well, and your Player Characters are experiencing sugar highs.

It is time for the Content Poll of issue #48. This is a significant number since it represents four full years of Mythic Magazine! I remember putting the first issue together, and thinking, "... can't wait to simplify the Behavior Check ..." Now here we are, with almost 100 articles in the MM archives and more to follow.

The power is yours to decide what those future articles will be. With great polls comes great responsibility!

As usual, please choose as many article ideas as you like. I will go with the top two vote-getters that fall into separate categories (What If, Variations, Tool Box, and Interrupt).

Let's begin, shall we.

Curious about a future content idea (or if I am forgetting it in my stack of Mythic materials, please point it out): the handling of generational skips/storylines in threads/characters. My first long term Mythic game had elements of that (a family chronicle) and I'm thinking of about doing another one (in tribute to Romancing Saga 2) but I'd be curious about some advice/alternatives on how to handle it.

Well, I actually have the opposite in mind. It would be a very specific setting, using light Mythic rules like One-Page mechanics.

I have to agree. I love a zombie apocalypse :)

I'll add that to the list for a future poll :)

It's easy to do, isn't it? "I have a great idea for an adventure!" You start the adventure. Then ... "I have another great idea for an adventure!" So you start that adventure too, because why not? And before you know it, you now have a collection of ongoing adventures lol

Adventuring Juggling is literally my life lol

weird personal request: handling romance in Mythic. Like if I want to have romanceable characters like it is a BioWare game.

Claire Anderson

There really isn't enough zombie content in the solo ttrpg world

I picture the mini-mythic RPG as being setting-neutral. Like a fully realized Mythic Rules Light RPG from magazine 31.

I am running an intense Sword and Sorcery game with a typical anti-hero type character. I have been trying to brainstorm a Cozy adventure to play along side of it, because it is a bit grim dark and intense, but 30 years of running action based games means that is running counter to my instincts. I would love an article on Cozy games. Or how to have low stakes conflict.
