Mythic Magazine #46

Greetings Mythicists! I hope your day is going well and your games are generating lots of Random Events :)

Mythic Magazine #46 is here, and I have to say that is one of the best covers Jorge has done yet! I just love it. The colors are just so on point.

So what's in this issue? Space :)

Star System Creator: This is a system for generating star systems and their points of interest, including planets and mysterious elements. It includes name generators and events that take place when exploring.

Solo Adventures In The Style Of Found Journals: Translate your Mythic adventures into the found journal and found footage genre with simple guidelines and rules that bring out the found journal flavor.

I really enjoyed making both of these articles, and I was surprised how well the two systems can work together. I ended up doing a combined Big Example that uses both systems, and I love the result. I don't usually run Big Examples quite this big, but I just had to see it to the end :)

I hope you enjoy, and happy adventuring!

Thank you :) That's a good point, this can be expanded out to just about any genre.

Thank you Joe, I'm glad you like it :)

I'm reading the space exploration article and I needed to stop to come here and tell how great and inspiring this article is! A lot of ideas can be applied not only to galaxies. The system exploration focus works for any setting and the feature generation rules can work to create the first locations of a fantasy map in the Worlds Without Number style.

Where can we find the updated file?

Joe McGee

This is FANTASTIC

Joe McGee

That would be great!

Not yet, that may be something for a future content poll.

Please note that I just replaced the magazine file with an updated one. There were a few corrections to make on page 19 (table numbers were off on the Outer column) and page 77 (Character Conversations table was listed a second time in the back). Thank you to the Mythicists who caught these! :)

This looks awesome! Do we have a fantasy hex map creator in this style in the mythic system yet?
