Progress Journal, July, #1

Greetings Mythicists! I hope your July is going well, you had a safe holiday yesterday if you're in the states, and you aren't melting in the heat if where you live is being baked by the sun. Where I am, nature asked "Will it be hot today?" and Mythic answered Exceptional Yes.

Here's a rundown on some things happening here ...

Mythic Magazine Compilation #6
The PDF of this Compilation is just about ready to be shipped out to the world! I'm hoping to release it either today or Sunday, depending on how my schedule pans out. This collection includes issues #31-36, which contains two more of the One-Page rulesets: One-Page Creature Crafter and One-Page Location Crafter.

A Dungeon In Mythic Magazine #44
I haven't made a new solo module since issue #22, so I'm excited to return to that territory with a new solo adventure for this next issue. This will be the third solo module published in Mythic Magazine, and I want it to be a little different than the previous two. I'm making a classic dungeon, with monsters and traps and puzzles and all of that dungeony goodness. I'm thinking of classic old school modules like White Plume Mountain as inspiration. This adventure will be randomized enough that it can not only serve as a solo adventure, but it also works as a general purpose random dungeon generator using Mythic principles. I'm going to see if Jorge can produce additional images for it as I think this will have higher than usual art demands. That's all good, because I love getting art from Jorge :)

Fixing Print Issues
A few of my standard color, softcover books on DriveThruRPG ran into problems with the printer where the files were getting rejected. I've been working toward getting those files fixed so that print option is available again on those books. I like to have a range of print options available when possible to give players a choice. Softcover standard is the most affordable print option on DriveThru, so it's important to make sure that choice remains available.

Books In The Works
Aside from the magazine, that is always in the works, here are the next three projects coming through the pipeline (I already mentioned Mythic Magazine Compilation #6, so I won't include that below):
- Mythic Roleplaying Second Edition
- A compilation of the One-Pagers (this doesn't have an actual title yet)
- Mythic Magazine Compilation #7
