Super power rules may be the new "using Mythic to write fiction", getting passed over for years until one day it claims victory.

It would be a standalone game, involving setting up a quest and solving it, using familiar Mythic GME processes translated to a board game. It wouldn't necessarily be used for roleplaying, although it could be.

2024-07-03 21:07:29 +0000 UTCThat's a good idea (and very appropriate that it comes from a "Dean"!) I'm a big fan of the show. A few weeks back I took my car in for a smog check. It was a little garage, just one employee there. He had a TV going with a show on that I couldn't see, but I could hear it and instantly recognize it as Supernatural. I mentioned it and we got to talking about the show. I even remember the episode just from the dialogue I could hear. It was the first crossroads demon episode, with a jazz musician legend attached to it.

2024-07-03 05:19:45 +0000 UTCIn a future issue, I'd love to see a variation like the Mystery, Horror, Procedural Drama, etc rules but specifically for "Supernatural" (the tv show) monster-of-the-week type monster hunting solo adventures. It could even combine some elements of the Creature Crafter.
