Greetings Mythicists! I hope your day is going well and your games are exciting :)
I have another installment of the Mythic Magazine Podcast. I'm picking up from where I left off, where in the last two episodes I built a setting. I got a zombie apocalypse in a domed city.
This episode is about making a character to play in that setting. I'm using the in-development Mythic Roleplaying Second Edition rules. Since these character building rules are still being hammered out, I did notice after listening to this episode that I made a couple of minor mistakes. It's nothing big, you may even catch them while listening.
Despite that, I had a lot of fun doing this and I'm happy with the final result! I challenged myself to make a character without any preconceived ideas, just guided by the dice rolls and my interpretations. The setting was also derived that way. I think this helps to showcase one of Mythic RPG2e's central themes: to create settings, characters, and games while starting from absolute zero. So, surprises from the start.
I enjoyed making this character, and I hope you enjoy hearing the process!
Happy adventuring :)
