Progress Journal, June #1

Greetings Mythicists! I hope everyone is having a good June so far.

The content poll for the next issue of Mythic Magazine was posted yesterday, and it's already looking like there are a few clear winners. Will "using Mythic to write fiction" finally win? That idea has popped onto the poll multiple times over the last few years. Maybe this month is its month!

So what's going on in the Mythic studios? Let's take a look ...

Mythic Magazine Compilation #6
The sixth Compilation is almost ready to go! I expect to release it this month. This one covers issues #31 through #36. The PDF release will come first, followed by the PODs on DriveThruRPG.

Mythic Roleplaying Second Edition
Work continues on the second edition book. I'm still in the Characters Chapter, currently working on expanding a list of Descriptor ideas. Since Descriptors play such a large role in character creation, and the game in general, I felt it needs a fairly lengthy list of Descriptor examples to make it easier to craft your own.

Kindle Editions
I'm gradually expanding editions where my books are available, and recently this has included Kindle editions available on Amazon. I only have a few so far, but I plan to increase that as time goes on.

Podcast 
I've started making the podcast a more regular feature of the Patreon. So far so good, it's appeared each of the last two months. This was something of an experiment to see if I could work that into the monthly schedule, and it seems to be working fine! This is great, as I really enjoy making it. The next episode will be creating a character for the setting that was assembled over the previous two episodes. This coincides well with the character chapter work of MRPG2e, since I'll be using those rules.

One-Pager Compilation
I've talked about this online recently as I've gone back and forth whether or not to do it, but I think this would be a cool book so it's full steam ahead! This is a Compilation of all the One-Page rulesets. I want this to be more than just the articles collected in one book. It'll have more Big Examples and strategies for integrating the various One-Page rulesets together. It'll probably also have suggestions for sprinkling some of the regular rules in, so you can expand beyond what's shown on the single page. It takes the most simple Mythic and Crafter rules, mixes them together, adds more rules to them if you like, for a final form that is somewhere between "super simple" and "just less than standard". We'll see how this comes together!

I think that's about it! I'm sure I missed something, but if I did I'll try to cover it on the next Progress Journal later this month.
