Mythic Magazine #42 Content Poll
Added 2024-05-02 23:48:14 +0000 UTCGreetings Tier 3 Mythicists, and welcome to May's Mythic Magazine Content Poll!
Last issue we had fun with villains and explored the Player Crafter. For this poll, there are 10 article ideas below, some of which you may have seen in a previous poll while others are brand new.
As usual, please choose as many article ideas as you like. I'll go with the top two vote-getters that fall into separate article categories.
Which article ideas will win? We shall soon find out!
Let the choosing begin!

Formal story structure appears to be holding second place pretty strongly. Micro Regions could edge it out, but since that's an Interrupt article and Interrupt is dominated by solo play fatigue, formal story structure will probably win.

2024-05-03 16:20:30 +0000 UTCIt looks like the solo play fatigue article has taken a strong lead. I had wondered how well that one would do. I feel like this is an often experienced phenomena, maybe so often that it doesn't get talked about enough because it's taken for granted as a thing that happens. I'm happy to see we'll likely be diving into it.

2024-05-03 16:18:38 +0000 UTCGetting into detail can be a lot of fun, especially for games where exploring details is important. I'm thinking dungeon crawls where you're picking through interesting rooms, occult and horror where you're considering any important details in a library or room, etc. I see this application of the Location Crafter as a way to create granularly detailed rooms, in much the same way that LC can create sprawling Regions. Instead of expanding outward, it's unfolding inward.
