Mythic Magazine #24
Added 2022-12-01 01:53:18 +0000 UTCGreetings Mythicists! Welcome to the 24th issue of Mythic Magazine, a full two years! Not only is it a milestone, but it also means that a fourth Compilation is around the corner.
This issue is the Event and Distrust issue, containing:
- The Event Crafter: A system for generating Events that build on each other, evolving a growing Situation. It's based on the Location Crafter, applying it's Region generating mechanisms to anything.
- When Characters Distrust Each Other: A look at handling NPCs you don't trust and who don't trust you. This includes rules and guidelines for determining when a distrustful NPC goes bad and how to maintain the tension.

2022-12-26 21:50:11 +0000 UTCI LOVE the event crafter! I just finished reading the article and I can see how versatile it is. I have a ton of ideas for it, not just for events but also for streamlining a variety of certain things that I can't wait to try out :)

2022-12-12 17:33:55 +0000 UTCI like the idea of the Event Crafter, but I'm a bit lost about it. Do you plan to publish Event Crafter situations like you've done with the Randomized Location Crafter and the dungeons, cities and the other ones?

I've not quite finished number 23 (just reading about puzzles - fabulous! - and the advice for campaigns that have gotten a little out of hand was GREAT). Now this looks set to be another bumper issue. The pace at which you keep throwing ideas at us is just amazing.
