Issue #18 was fun to make, and I'm pleased with how well the Elements Meaning Tables went over with everyone. Let's see what we're doing for the next issue!

I keep a list of article ideas that I rotate through each month to create the content polls. If a topic doesn't make it, it stays on the list for a future poll. There are some ideas that have been in the list for quite some time, and people have gotten used to seeing them appear regularly and losing every time ("Using Mythic to write novels and fiction", I'm looking at you!) I'd love for that idea to win too some time. One of my favorite solo campaigns I ever did was taking the graphic novel to Marvel's Secret Wars and using it as the framework for my own solo version of how the Secret Wars played out. I enjoyed that so much I actually ran through the same adventure maybe three times, replaying it and getting different outcomes each time. The source content lends structure to the solo adventure, which modifies it as you play. I love it :)

2022-06-09 21:17:26 +0000 UTCWish I could put both of my votes into "Revised and simplified combat rules for Mythic RPG." We haven't had nearly as much Red Book RPG content in the magazine and it feels like it is due for another look. :-)
