Added 2021-08-02 18:51:13 +0000 UTCGreetings everyone! I've been happy with the reception of Mythic Magazine #8. I was a little surprised when the Tier 3 members chose Player vs. Character Knowledge as the top article, but once again they were right judging from the positive feedback I'm getting. This is one of those topics that I consider a "quality of life" issue for role-players, because we all face the question of handling player knowledge at some point and have to resolve it for ourselves. How we choose to handle it will impact not only that adventure but all that follow, assuming we continue using the same tactic. I hope this article brought some new ideas to the table.
I'm starting work on Mythic Magazine issue #9, so Tier 3 people be on the lookout for a content poll soon.
The latest proofing copies I've received of the print versions of Mythic Variations and Mythic Magazine #1 had problems, so I'm waiting on the next proofs. POD versions of those books will hopefully soon be available.
After a vacation, Jorge is back at work making artwork for Mythic Second Edition. I'm excited about the progress with these books. I'm really looking forward to the core Mythic books having a fresh new face and revamped rules. It's long overdue.
Looking to the future a bit, I intend to make an omnibus version of Mythic Magazines 1-12. I'd like to do this every 12 issues, collecting all of those issues into a single volume that will be available as a pdf and a POD book. I'm saying this now for those who have been asking about POD versions of Mythic Magazine. You should be aware that a collection volume will come out eventually, so when individual POD versions are available and if you want them, you can decide whether to go for individual books or wait to get them all in a single volume after issue 12 is out.
Finally, I'm considering doing an Ask Me Anything post here in Patreon for those of you who may have questions for me about, well ... about anything lol I purposefully avoid talking much about myself because we're all here for our love of solo role-playing. I consider it a privilege that so many people like Mythic and that it's had such an impact on the hobby, an impact that seems to grow every day. At the same time, I'm wondering if there are those of you out there who have questions about me or about where Mythic came from. If I started an AMA thread here, that may make it less awkward to ask me some questions that you've wondered about but didn't have a clear avenue to ask them in. If you like this idea, then please chime in below and let me know.
I hope all is well for all of you! Please stay safe and happy adventuring! :)

If you do an AMA I would love to know 2 things : - how you came with your adjective/ nouns tables because they are I don’t know (call me biased) but somehow better than the others I saw (in the sense that they are so open that they are always inspire me) - and secondly how are you capable of so quickly adapt and make out good new content for the magasines every month based on the mythic system ? (Seems naïve to ask that but it truly shines a light on the foundations of the system and its robustness)
