June 2020 - City of Corsairs - WIP

Haha Iain saw it and wanted to include it in his KS... But I will need to make some extra stuff that will be exclusive for Patrons for this month!

Ah I wondered where I had seen it before. I am a KS Backer for Iain's project and thought the city looked familiar.

OK :-), I accept your explanation and apology. Thanks for your honest response, we can all look at things we do sometimes and realise we could do them better. I am also an artist and I like what you do and so I back you but also because you seem to be a genuine guy, trying to earn a living in a creative field in which you are really good. With our support I'm sure most of your backers want you to be successful in your 3d design business, and getting your designs connected to someone like Iain's KS will hopefully be beneficial to you over the longer term. Keep up the great work and I am looking forward to this and every months designs.

Hi Warren, I'm sorry for that. Iain saw the models for this month when I posted to the 3D printing fb groups over the weekend. He got in touch regarding using this months set in his campaign. Unfortunately it happened a bit quickly for me to process properly, and I'm really sorry to have disappointed you in my choice in allowing him to use the set in his campaign on the same month. I didn't think it over how it might have come across with backers. I'll be more considerate in regards to working with other creators when it comes to KS and patreon being mixed up. The last thing I wanted was to leave a bad taste in your mouth with my decisions. Upon reflection, I'll be sure to separate the two formats when working with other creators.

It was just a little disquieting going onto Ian Lovecraft's latest Kickstarter and seeing this months City of Corsairs as part of it. Having a patreon project in someone elses ks in the same month seems a bit unfair. I'm glad that you are having success getting your designs out but it would have been polite to tell your backers about this first.
