Mythic Magazine #3

Greetings everyone! Please find attached Mythic Magazine #3, the dungeon issue!

The first article in this issue is one that has been requested for some time now: using published adventures with Mythic. In keeping with that module/dungeon theme, I also present a continuation of last month's randomized Location Crafting but with specific flavor for a classic dungeon delve.

I hope everyone enjoys! Happy adventuring!

Just the cover?

Would it be possible to include an A4 sized cover with the Mythic Magazine? Would be nice for home printing!

Thank you Alexandru :) I think the section on Adventure Features could have used more explanation. I'd love to hear how the system works out for you and your impressions of it.

Hi José, thanks for the kind words! That's a good question. Now that I think of it, a Dark Woods generator could stand on its own. That's something to consider for another LC treatment.

Another solid issue ! Your thoughts on how to play a published adventure are very interesting (especially the idea of scaling). With DM yourself there’s still a lot of prep involved (3 types of behaviours to write down, binding decisions etc..) before gaming and I prefer the more hop in, play the adventure and let Mythic surprise you along the way. I will definitely test it and see how it feels ingame, to better understand the more nebulous aspects of it (what’s an Adventure Feature is still vague for me and also how to scale it well..) As for the Random Dungeon Crawl Generation it’s *chef’s kiss*. As more and more issues are coming it truly brings a breath of fresh air into the Mythic system and shows how truly polyvalent and powerful it can be. Congrats ! :)

As always, a terrific product. I really like both contributions, but the Dungeon generator is specially amazing! A question, out of curiosity: how would you use it to create a “dungeon” out of a forest? Dark, terrible forests are a passion of mine for dungeons. Congrats again!
