I would definitely say despite the troubles of 2022, I still somehow managed to come out of it with an amazing group of friends. I've always been used to the version of myself that just sits alone at group gatherings, overly exhausting myself of ways to get a word in, only to be spoken over by someone else. It just got to a point when I accepted what groups were not meant for me, and that's fine. For a while, I thought maybe I was better off being alone, as I didn't have to burden anyone else with my awkward being. But it turns out that there are many people out there who although are nothing like me, make me feel peaceful and free. I just had to go out there and find them.
