"Remember when you wanted what you currently have." My relationship to drawing / making art / telling stories have definitely changed throughout time, and last year was one of the years I felt the most jaded by it. While balancing a career in animation, I am also publishing a graphic novel, creating content on social media, and living my personal life. In a way I feel like I got lost in trying to manage my various projects rather than being able to really FEEL OUT what I'm creating. Something about revisiting my childhood art reignites a fire in me to be like "Oh yeah, there was a time in life I actually LOVED doing this, even when it looked like sh*t!" I'm trying my best to approach art the way I used to, so I've been blasting "Gypsy" by Fleetwood Mac nonstop into my eardrums πΆ
