My apologies on the lack of communication. As many of you might know, I currently live in China. Because of the national holiday, my VPN didn't work, which meant that I couldn't connect to Patreon, Discord, emails, etc.
Note: this situation will change soon. I'll be in Canada next month, and won't have to deal with VPN for the foreseeable future.
So back to Book 17. The long and short of it is that Book 17 is a monster. I've written most of it up to 2nd draft standard, but the last quarter still needs a bit of work. My total word count is just under 250k, making it 10k words longer than my now second-longest book, Book 13. It was my aim to write a shorter book, but that clearly didn't pan out.
I also saw no good chopping point, so I opted to keep the book intact. The good news is that I will start editing tomorrow and should be able to churn a third draft fairly quickly. I will start posting tomorrow.
As for Book 16's ePub, I will also post it tomorrow, which should give you all around a week to download it.
That is all. I am tired. I can't remember the last time I took a day off. But I won't be starting any time soon, because I need Book 17 out before moving at the end of the month.
