Rough Jenn Animation
Added 2025-01-27 03:22:36 +0000 UTCA roughed out little animation of Jenn stretching, something I did to re-familiarize myself with the workflow and UI in Toon Boom Harmony. The program's way better than last I used it and there's tons of little doodads in it that I can already see as being useful for larger projects, so I'll have to mess around with it more.
For this animation in particular I wanted to try my hand at better understanding timing charts, which I somehow haven't really used all that much until now. I KIND OF get them now in terms of reading and applying them but it's still not 100% there yet for sure, considering I didn't exactly put the breakdown frames in the best places and I had to add extra inbetweens in some movements to make things feel better. Something to note down for the next animation, I suppose. Oh, and I should have put Jenn's sweater and her hair on separate layers to make the workflow on animating them a bit smoother etc etc.
Regardless of all that, this was fun to do and I'm satisfied with the results even though I didn't go for a full render on this, on to the next thing!
