NSFW - Abandoned Animations
Added 2024-06-16 17:08:04 +0000 UTCHere's a little behind the scenes for you: A couple NSFW animations I had started working on but abandoned, one being Hornet from Hollow Knight and the other being a fan animation for @SomeMotherF on Twitter of their OC Fifi. I stopped working on both of these a good while ago, but I'm very tempted to rework the ideas.
The hornet animation I ended up abandoning because honestly it was not only taking far too long for me to figure stuff out on it, but also I couldn't quite get her breasts to move right. You can see in the animation that they're a little "floaty"-looking. I remember spending a lot of time on them but they still look goofy. Not only that but I hadn't even gotten to the cloth animation yet, which is a whole other can of worms. The animation does have its merits, so a return to this one without doing a complete rework is entirely possible.
The SomeMotherF animation was abandoned because it began to feel too... mechanical in a way. I felt that I was focusing too hard on making sure the proportions stayed accurate throughout the movements, and as a result it started to feel stiff. It's an easy trap for me to fall into when animating honestly, should probably do something about that. If I went back to this animation it would have to be a complete rework, maybe even a completely different pose and angle for the movements as a whole.
