Not sure if you are aware of the series "Backyard Goblins" by Virgil Knightley & Alphonse Fisk, and I appreciate there are vanishingly few new ideas, but the blurb made me think of Goblin Gigs. Just wanted to mention it just in case...I don't know, just a nebulous anxiety I guess.

2025-10-29 10:11:41 +0000 UTCI kinda hope the MC gets himself to a historical collectors fair realises how stupidity expensive authentic Katanas are and ends up buying something you can actually use in a fight against anyone wearing decent armour which would be most adventures who had any clue and native professionals. I've see whole tables of usable European and Asian weapons from 16th century on at pretty reasonable prices even alot of 19th century stuff would work better.
