Plus, issues with legal restrictions like fault based divorce, property rights, child custody, economic dependency, ect. On top of that, thereβs like the culture expectation for women to stay in line and maintain their role in the family. For Lucy, itβs like, she could leave but where would she go and would she be ostracized for her choices? Hawkβs essentially got her trapped in that marriage. Anyway Iβve been loving watching yβallβs reaction to this series!! π©·
