Reacting to Fellow Travelers Episode 6 - "Beyond Measure"

In this video, we react to Episode 6 of Fellow Travelers, "Beyond Measure".

Bradam is back for another queer romance! A HIGHLY requested show, we are watching Fellow Travelers. We have been told to expect all the drama– lots of emotions, sex, passion and the like.

"Fellow Travelers" is a Showtime miniseries based on Thomas Mallon's novel, chronicling the tumultuous romance between Hawkins Fuller (Matt Bomer), a charismatic State Department official, and Timothy Laughlin (Jonathan Bailey), a young, religious man, navigating the McCarthy era and beyond, facing political persecution and personal struggles. πŸ‘”πŸ€«

This is not being religious, that is religious trauma. πŸ˜πŸ’”

I feel like with Lucy, there’s so much of a stigma around women who get divorced in that time period. Plus, issues with legal restrictions like fault based divorce, property rights, child custody, economic dependency, ect. On top of that, there’s like the culture expectation for women to stay in line and maintain their role in the family. For Lucy, it’s like, she could leave but where would she go and would she be ostracized for her choices? Hawk’s essentially got her trapped in that marriage. Anyway I’ve been loving watching y’all’s reaction to this series!! 🩷
