Bradley’s comment about San Francisco being cute caught my attention here. Unfortunately, the street scene where Hawk approaches Tim’s 1980’s apartment didn’t happen in SF. The series was shot in Ontario, principally Toronto and Hamilton. Probably wouldn’t be spotted by anyone not intimately familiar with SF. But my husband and I have called the city home since 1995 so I guess we qualify.
