What you have to remember before beeing annoyed with Wilhelm for not taking a stand like Simon, is that they are raised totally different. Where Simon is raised to stand up for his belives Wilhelm is raised to obey. It is not that easy to just say stand up for what you believe in. Wilhelm is in a way the property of Sweden when born as a royaly. I have a soft spot for Wilhelm and think he struggles alot with both obeying the crown and taking in Simon’s words about beeing true to himself. I will watch these two last episodes for you guys, to see your reactions. Personaly I never watch the last two episodes, to hard to watch for me.

2025-03-11 00:29:11 +0000 UTCY'all NEED to plan on filming the last 2 episodes at the same time. You are NOT gonna want to stop after Episode 5. The protest was so funny to me...Vincent is such a hypocrite for using "socialist" tactics after being such a jerk to Simon. Personally, I think the principal was going to ease up after they behaved during the inspectorate visit....but then those spoiled kids did that and she enjoyed canceling their dinner, lol. It was frustrating when Wile didn't care about his foundation and using it as a platform- but we have to remember he's been SO indoctrinated by the idea that he can't be political. As the earlier comments mentioned, the poor kid doesn't even know what he likes or who he is....just how to appear as a prince. He's just barely gotten the Royal Court to acknowledge Simon. He had to ask permission for Simon to go to the Foundation announcement and to the palace. I think he knew they'd never let him have a mental health or LGBT focus. ( I mean, good grief- They are hiding the Queen's treatment for depression even though her son just died & everyone would be sympathetic.) It was still sad how Wile responded though. Makes me hope he does that sort of work years later in his future.

2025-03-10 15:50:49 +0000 UTCGreat reaction again guys. I prattle on about how impressed I am with the writing of this series but this episode makes the point no matter how many times I have seen it. Here in the US the Monarchy is dismissed but for Wilhelm, as you Bradley have pointed out, Wille isn't just part of a famous family, he is part of the government of Sweden. No small thing to dismiss. The genius of the writing of this episode is that while we still have no idea if it's possible for Wille and Simon to be together, the only possible way is for Erik to die a second time.

2025-03-10 15:42:56 +0000 UTCwow. i've watched the whole series as it came out and re-watched it so, so, so many times. i'd never actually thought about that but it is so true. we actually know nothing about wille, except the small glimpses we see in the show. the fight at the beginning and a little bit of a flashback with erik regarding him giving him the frog prince snow globe. i'd actually love to know more about wille's life. it'd be amazing if they could do a prequel about him growing up.. even as a mini-series. they'd need to get edvin to stop aging and go back in time though haha. it's actually quite sad - because everything he tries to do that's positive usually goes negatively. he's simply all-in for simon - but often makes bad choices which are related to his upbringing. i LOVE the next episode and the finale. i think most will agree that one of edvin's best acting scenes in the whole series is in the next episode. it was next-level good (i mean, we all know he is brilliant). every time i get to the end of re-watching it though it makes me so sad that there wasn't more of the series made.it's a selfish thought - because the actual show couldn't go forever and have the same quality.. but another season would have been nice haha. lisa did an incredible job writing the show. i think we all love it for that reason.

This episode showed one thing well, it's not that Wilhelm has been brainwashed or anything, that would have happened a long time ago if that was true. Repeating the line from his mother, not a punishment, that's him giving up. Simon deleting his account and losing a part of himself is horrible. And it shows you Simon has to give up pieces of himself, Wilhelm was never allowed to nurture pieces of him that didn't have anything to do with a proper prince. The only personality Wille ever got that wasn't sanctioned by the Crown was his acting out, the fight. I truly believe this because we know Simon likes music, video games and his friends. What do we truly know about Wilhelm? Nothing except he loves Simon. Shown when Simon told him to join a club or activity that he liked, he joined choir, not because he likes it but because Simon is there.

We will help you with the withdrawals symptoms later with all and every Wilmon and Edmar content available. It helps. And while it is parasocial as hell, the story basically still continues in real world, as Edvin and Omar have become very close and keep entertaining us with their connection and chemistry. The next two episodes will be tough to watch. I often skip them altogether, unless I need emotional torture for some reason. Bring your tissues with you on the couch. 😭

The fact that he didn’t delete and instead watched it over and over again to a point where he eventually leaked it was so mind blowing to me… maybe especially him watching it several times was kinda self therapy for him…

2025-03-10 06:05:02 +0000 UTCAbout the protest, it is an internal protest not a public one and in Wilhelm's eyes it could benefit his relationship with Simon by being able to get their cell phones back. Several episodes back Wilhelm tells Simon that all he cares about is being with him. When Simon decides to join Wilhelm at the protest it was during him softly singing the words "let me be your revolution" as he played a few keys on the piano. There's just so much and everything is intentional like the music and lyrics. I cannot wait for your next reactions to YR but I'm also sad that it's coming to an end.😥❤️
