Wille has to be in his dorm by 7pm and Simon can’t stay over. They can’t talk on the phone or text except within that short one-hour window. So it’s essentially forbidden love all over again! They do get creative though heh 👀 Great reaction as always!!

2025-02-24 03:09:38 +0000 UTCawesome reaction as always and so great to be watching season 3 with you!! as you mentioned timeline-wise, at the beginning, the shows seasons always start off relatively soonafter the previous one ended. as for the actual break between seasons coming out - it was about 16 months between each season being released. all seasons released the full six episodes on the release date with the exception of season 3. season 3s first 5 episodes dropped at once and there was a one week delay between the finale (ep 6) being released. as far as the monarchy and government goes - the monarch is the head of state but is relatively ceremonial. the monarchy has no governing power or legislative power and does not take political stances. it is known on the world stage for not taking sides. the current king has been in the position for more than 50 years. i find it interesting that the issue of sexuality is one of the main issues with the series when nowhere else in the world is really as liberal as sweden. it’s been ruled by a democratic / libertarian party with a majority or co-party rule since about the 19th century. in 2019 sweden was named the most LGBTQIA+ friendly country along with portugal and canada. there wouldnt be this brilliant series though without that plot, so it makes sense that lisa ambjorn wrote it the way she did :) cant wait to see more!!
