This show gives you everything and watching it thru your eyes is special as none of my friends like it even tho they're way younger than me, imo they're missing out. We're the lucky ones.

I laughed when I heard you say: ” Why did you make us watch this show?” This show does give you much anxiety but occasionally also butterflies ❤️. It’s no feelgood serie 😁, the genre is DRAMA.

Yet, you want the same rollercoaster again and again. This is a great show for us ADHD hyperfixators. 🤣

2025-01-01 00:29:01 +0000 UTCI am so enjoying watching these with you guys! One thing that you maybe know, maybe didn't realize is that both Simon and Wille are 16. Having a sex tape filmed and released without their consent is really illegal. It would also be really provable because the entire country would know exactly how old Wille is. Anyway... August sucks. I was thinking something about based on what you said a few episodes ago, about fans saying Heartstopper is really similar to Young Royals. I have watched both shows so many times, and I do think they are similar, but not in the way you would expect. The chemistry between the couples is so intense and believable and that is what I think is the most similar. Just the way they show everyday touches and intimacy is just so intense. I still get butterflies watching them in the fish scene or seeing their beautiful make up hug right before Lucia. Really well done on the part of the actors and the whole production team. But that chemistry/intimacy is also really evident with Nick and Charlie as well. The other thing that is similar between the two shows is they share a lot of the same fan base. Not that long ago Edvin (the actor that plays Wille) went to see Kit on Broadway and they posted a picture for the fans. Both shows are really very well done! I can't wait until you see the rest :)

Just before they were about to shoot that scene the director told Omar they had to name the fish. Edvin suggested Omar name them for his old band-mates from Omar's days in the boy-band FO&O (letters of the guys names) Omar was afraid they would be mad at him so he made up some similar names and that's where the names came from. More of Edvin's improvising.

Cannot wait until you are fully through with the whole series. So many things I am literally burning to tell, but I keep my mouth shut to avoid spoiling anything. Young Royals is the best show I have ever seen. I am 50 year old female and watching YR has resolved so many of my lifelong traumas. Wish this show existed when I was just a girl. Maybe things would have been different....

2024-12-31 18:02:03 +0000 UTCBesides confessing himself, which actually would have probably landed Simon in more trouble because the Crown would want to know where he got the drugs, this was pretty much Wille's only choice. The boys would have never turned on August, even if they were pitying him for being poor now. But Alexander they had no attachment to so they were fine turning on him, well the older boys, the younger ones just went with the crowd. Is it a good look for Wille? No. Neither was his horrible communication skills in the music room. I always felt the way Wille talked to Simon here is how he's used to being spoken to when something is wrong. We saw in the first episode his mother couldn't care less about his feelings. I don't then he wanted Simon to take the fall, I really think he thought Simon could think of a way out of it for both of them. While Wille is guilty, so is Simon, if Wille hadn't of been there that night and everything happened, Simon would have been expelled. Can't wait to season one finale.
