Synopsis/Description:

It's new Years, and Nabby's coming out swinging!
Heck she's even got Abby all decked out to celebrate with her!
Happy New Years (and New Decade, too), and here's hoping you're 10 levels stronger by 2030!

The Rant:

Happy New Years, Everybody!
(no, this isn't the new years/End of year reflection post, if it happens at all)

The big thing on my mind when making this was the premise of being able to order Abby and Nabby in any order and still be in order! Apparently the term for that is a "pallindrome?" (see also: the word "racecar"). This is the only year I'd get to use it (I missed 1919, and I don't expect to be around for 2121 or 2222), so why not?

This was pretty simple as well. its a loop of a reflected animation where Abby and Nabby spring up once, and then retract back to neutral. The hard part is the non-reflectable elements (i.e. the text). In those cases, the looped part is duplicated into its own spring-animation, and the blindfold/boobs reference an alternate frame where the numbers are redrawn to match the reading order they should face. After that, cleanup and you're done!

Fun factoids:

When cleaning up and first adding the numbers on Abby's boobs, I forgot that the joke was supposed to be that Nabby could line up on either side of her, and I drew out the full 2020, which would have read either "20202020" or "202020." Whoops!
Also, Abby initially didn't have a blindfold, but I figured it would be funny/cuter/kinkier for her to have a blindfold that mimicked those "New Year" glasses instead (and much easier than actually doing said glasses). This was actually a lot easier than creating two expressions for her to have, and saved some time, so yay!

And that's the beginning of this new year Hopefully its a lot more consistent than last year!
