Draw this again

Just little something I wanted to put out before the year is over.
Drew the one on the left late 2013. That was the year when I picked up the pencil at 22 years old and decided to start drawing.
Funny to see how things have changed, man I’m happy that I kept on consistently working at this.
I was pretty happy with that pic at the time and I guess it’s really not half bad for the first year of drawing.
Though there’s still a loong way for me still to go with art until I’m where I want to be with art.

I remember first two or three years of drawing were pretty boring and heavy on the technical side, but after I had the basics down, art got a lot more enjoyable.
Next year I’ll probably focus on trying to get my style to be a bit more relaxed.
I think I’m a bit stiff with my approach and my anatomy is now good enough for me to try and loosen up a bit. Also maybe experiment with different coloring styles.
We’ll see how that works out.
And I’ll have a proper go at this meme again next year and draw one with colors when I have more time.
