Chapter 232: How To De-Cursify An Elf (1)

Willow leaned forward eagerly, his curiosity gnawing at his core. He was eager to hear what Illya, the wise mentor and master wizard, had to say. “Amelia's mana pool is damaged,” Illya began with a grave expression. “It limits her ability to channel magic effectively. We must find a way to restore her mana capacity.”

A crease formed between Willow's brows, concern etched into his features. “A damaged mana pool? Is there a way to heal it?”

Illya sighed softly, his eyes filled with empathy. “It will not be easy, but there are ways we can try. Restorative magic or specific rituals may help. We need to delve deeper into this matter to find the best solution.”

Nodding attentively, Willow absorbed the information, his mind already buzzing with possibilities. “And there is more,” Illya continued, his tone tinged with gravity. “A curse seems to be hindering Amelia's ability to utilize more than one element at a time. Her affinity for all seven Major Elements is extraordinary, but this curse limits her potential.”

A mixture of concern and determination flickered across Willow's face. “A curse? How did this happen? Can it be lifted?”

Illya's eyes softened, filled with sympathy. “I do not have all the answers, but I suspect it may be tied to her past or some external influence. We must investigate further to understand the curse's nature and find a way to remove it. We cannot have this curse hold back Amelia from fully embracing her magical prowess.”

Willow's gaze hardened with resolve. “I will not let this curse hinder Amelia's potential. I will find a way to overcome it, Illya. I promise.”

Illya's eyes gleamed with reassurance. “I have faith in you, Willow. That is all I ask of your time. Now, rest well, and tell the kid I said hello.”

“Thank you, Illya,” Willow smiled, getting up from his chair. “Goodnight to you as well.”

After parting ways with Illya, Willow made his way towards the guild's private bathing quarters for male adventurers. The warm waters of the bath embraced him, cleansing away the remnants of the slime that clung to his skin. His thoughts drifted towards his elven comrade, Amelia, as he let himself sink deeper into the soothing waters.

Amelia. A name that seemed to hold a certain power and mystery within the realms of this game he had been transported to. How could someone with such remarkable abilities, the wielder of all seven Major Elements, have escaped his memory? It puzzled him how she managed to keep her existence hidden, for one with such extraordinary talents should have left a lasting imprint on him.

Lost in contemplation, Willow's mind swirled with thoughts of Amelia, mingling with the wisps of steam that enveloped the bathing area. He couldn't shake off the eerie feeling that she was more than just a simple party member. Perhaps she was a secret character, waiting to be discovered? Or had she been an enigma all along, her origins intertwined with the very fabric of this world?

The uncertainty only fueled Willow's desire to unravel the mystery surrounding his elven companion. Running his fingers through his wet hair, he pondered the endless possibilities of what Amelia's true potential could be. Though she had been assigned as the party's Defender by the guild, he couldn't help but feel that her true strengths lied beyond that role.

Her ability to harness all seven Major Elements was a rarity, a gift that surpassed the boundaries of ordinary magic users. It whispered of untapped power and limitless opportunities. Willow couldn't help but envision Amelia standing at the forefront of battles, weaving intricate spells that harmonized with the elements. The image of her casting blazing fireballs, summoning swirling gusts of wind, or conjuring vibrant blossoms of nature filled his mind. It was a vision of Amelia in her element, embracing her true calling.

Lost in his thoughts, Willow couldn't wait to see Amelia unleash her true potential and become the powerful force that she was destined to be.

The malediction that plagued her, binding her to the manipulation of a singular element, cast a dark pall over the endless possibilities she once held. It was a cruel twist of fate, stifling her potential and hindering her growth. With gritted teeth, Willow balled his hands into fists, a surge of determination coursing through his veins. He refused to let this curse dictate Amelia's future.

Emerging from the steaming bath, water droplets glistening on his skin, Willow draped a towel around his waist, the flickering flame of a nearby candle casting an ethereal glow. He knew breaking the curse would require unwavering effort and assistance from the most skilled of practitioners. He pledged to pursue any and all methods, from restorative spells to ancient rituals, to mend Amelia's damaged magical well.

But it wasn't just her mana pool that concerned Willow. The bane had warped the very essence of her magic, rendering her unable to harness multiple elements simultaneously. It was a cruel irony that one gifted with such a profound aptitude for magic was restrained from fully embracing her potential.

A fire ignited within Willow as he considered the journey ahead. He longed to see Amelia liberated from the curse's shackles, to witness her wielding the full might of her powers. With each passing moment, his determination only intensified.

Stepping out of the bathing chamber, Willow strode with purpose, his mind teeming with plans and possibilities. As he towel-dried his body, the gleam of candlelight reflecting off his damp skin, highlighting his fat ass that was only growing bigger by the day, he knew time was of the essence when it came to aiding Amelia.

His first order of business: healing her damaged mana pool. With his extensive knowledge of restorative magic, Willow was confident he could devise a strategy to replenish her depleted reserves.

The careful selection of spells and techniques known for their healing properties was of the utmost importance to him. He was determined to rejuvenate her mana pool and restore its full capacity. If there was a way to strengthen her connection to the elements, he was determined to find it.

However, problem number two posed a greater challenge. The curse that restricted Amelia's ability to use more than one element at a time seemed deeply ingrained. Willow's mind was racing, considering various methods to dispel the curse and restore Amelia's freedom. One possibility that surfaced was using his unique ability, a fusion of purification magic and his inner chi energy. He believed that by channeling his purified chi into Amelia's afflicted aura, he could break the curse's hold and restore her full elemental prowess.

While the task at hand weighed heavily on Willow's heart, he couldn't allow himself to be consumed entirely by Amelia's predicament. His main objective, the quest to find the legendary Flaming Sword, still loomed over him. The sword's location was known to him, locked within the domain of the powerful being known as Lilith. He knew that confronting her would be treacherous, and he would likely face insurmountable odds. The thought of the upcoming challenges sent a shiver down his spine, but he remained resolute.

Finding a balance between aiding Amelia and pursuing his main goal became paramount. Time was limited, and Willow knew he couldn't afford to lose himself in one pursuit at the expense of the other. While his heart ached for Amelia's predicament, he couldn't forsake his primary objective. To obtain the Flaming Sword, he needed to grow stronger in both physical prowess and magical capabilities.

Willow's mind was racing with strategies, thinking through each step that was needed to convince Lilith to give up the coveted weapon. He knew that simply forcing her wouldn't be enough; he needed to approach her with finesse and tact. As he left the bathing area, his determination grew stronger. The road he'd chosen was full of challenges and unknowns, but he was prepared to face them head-on.

With each step he took, Willow was driven forward by the unwavering loyalty of Raegis and the glimmer of hope that they could unlock Amelia's true potential. As he entered the common area of the guild, he felt a renewed sense of purpose. The path ahead would be difficult, but he was determined to overcome any obstacles in their way. With Amelia's unwavering determination and Raegis's loyalty at his side, they would create a future where the boundaries of magic were shattered and their names would be written in the pages of adventurer history.

The journey ahead would require unwavering dedication, strength, and resilience. As Willow stepped out into the night, the moon casting its gentle glow on him, he silently promised himself that he would triumph over any obstacle in his path. The fate of his party, the secrets of Amelia's past, and his own quest for the Flaming Sword were all intertwined, and he was determined to face them all with unwavering determination.

“Everything’s going to be okay,” Willow whispered into the night. “I’ll make sure of it.”
