Chapter Twenty Three [Bambi's Omega Adventures In A Post Apocalyptic World]

Chapter Twenty Three: Apollo Starts Getting Close To Bambi

Apollo stood on the large rock, watching as his loyal Betas fought off the horde of disgusting, infested Mutants that had surrounded them. He was completely relaxed, his arms crossed over his chest as he observed the chaos below him. His Betas were powerful and skilled, their superhuman abilities giving them an advantage over the mutated creatures. But even with their strength and training, it was clear that the Mutants outnumbered them.

He watched in slight disinterest as one of his Betas, a particularly strong and muscular one named Caleb, swung his arm with brute force, sending a group of Mutants flying towards a nearby tree. This one was someone that he had picked up from one of the dungeons that an ex-cove used to have. He was shivering, weak and pathetic when he found him, but look at him now.

Another, a swift and agile Beta named Aiden, used his speed to dodge the attacks of the Mutants and deliver quick blows to their weak spots. Apollo was proud of his elite squad, they were the best of the best and had proven their loyalty to him time and time again, but then again, it wasn’t as if he was attached to them.

If they died, he could always cultivate some new talents, and therefore, get new elites. After all, he was the strongest Alpha around this mid-western area.

But as he watched his Betas fight, Apollo's mind was elsewhere. Bambi, the male Omega he had been hunting for weeks, was still out there somewhere. Apollo had become obsessed with the Omega, his thoughts consumed by the desire to have him. He imagined touching Bambi's silky smooth hands, running his fingers over his milky white skin, and seeing the cute expression on his face when he finally caught him. It was driving him crazy.

Just then, a small snake-like Mutant snuck its way past the fighting Betas and towards Apollo. Despite it’s size, this was a Red level mutant but not because of it’s strength or anything, it had reached the level it was simply because of it’s overwhelming ability of sneaking past even a skilled Alpha’s detection, and it’s deadly, deadly venom.

It slithered across the many Betas fighting, and aimed directly at the strongest one of the group - which was undoubtedly Apollo simply because this was the exact strategy it had used to become as strong as it was now. Slip past the front-lines, sneak into enemy territory all the way to their commander’s base, and give them a good bite of venom on their neck, and that was that.

With that, the snake had nearly reached Apollo, and was slithering right behind him, hiding underneath the rather thick bushes as it coiled towards itself.

Like a spring, it leaped forward, intending to bite him on the neck, but before it could make contact, it saw red.

BZZZ!

The Red Level Mutant had died without so much as a turn of the head from Apollo, as his laser-sight had zig-zagged behind him, hitting the venomous mutated snake right in the head,

and disintegrated the Mutant into a pile of ashes.

This was a huge, huge achievement to many Alphas, but to Apollo, he couldn't give a damn.

Apollo sighed, his thoughts still consumed by Bambi as he scanned the woods, wondering where the Omega could have possibly gone.

He felt a whoosh of wind and turned to see his right hand woman and Beta, Eva, kneeling beside him. She reported that she had found traces of Bambi deeper into the woods. Apollo's heart raced with excitement, knowing that he was one step closer to catching his prized Omega.

“Excellent work, Eva,” Apollo said, a crazed glint in his eyes.

Eva nodded and stood up, reporting that the trail was faint but still visible. Apollo couldn't contain his excitement. He was getting closer to Bambi with every step, imagining all the things he would do to the Omega once he had him. His thoughts were interrupted by another battle cry from his Betas as they stumbled upon another horde of Mutants.

Apollo rolled his eyes in annoyance, “Haven't you all finished this yet?”

His Betas looked at him in slight despair, knowing that Apollo could easily end this fight with a flick of his wrist. But they also knew that Apollo loved to watch them fight, to see their power and strength in action. It was one of the reasons why they were so loyal to him.

But Apollo couldn't wait any longer. He wanted Bambi, and he wanted him now.

He then turned to his beta squad, who were standing around looking bored. His face twisted into a look of disgust as he addressed them, “What a disappointing display.”

The betas hung their heads in shame, knowing they had failed to impress their Alpha. Apollo's power and ruthlessness were unmatched, and they all knew it. They also knew they couldn't afford to make any more mistakes, especially with Bambi at stake.

Apollo shook his head before the woods turned a slight red as Apollo zapped the remaining yellow-ranked mutants, turning them to ashes.

BZZZZ!

The Betas and Eva looked back at Apollo, only to see that he hadn’t even tired himself out even though he had basically cleared a group of Yellow-ranked Mutants all by himself, in less than a second as well. Their respect for the Alpha heightened a step further.

He then turned back to Eva, his eyes glinting with anticipation, “Lead the way. I can almost taste victory.”

Eva nodded and took off, with Apollo following closely behind.

As they made their way deeper into the woods, Apollo couldn't help but imagine Bambi's reactions to his advances. He pictured the Omega struggling against him, the thrill of the chase only adding to his excitement. And when he finally had Bambi trapped in his claws, he knew it would be the ultimate victory.

But as they grew closer to their target, Apollo's mind began to race with possibilities. What would Bambi's body feel like against his own? How would he react to Apollo's touch, his lips, his dominance? The thoughts consumed him, driving him to the brink of insanity.

In his head, he could already see it.

As they continued deeper into the woods, Apollo's thoughts were consumed by Bambi once again. He imagined the omega's soft skin under his touch, his petite body helpless in his grasp. The thought sent heat to his cheeks and a familiar bulge to his pants. He couldn't wait to have Bambi in his claws.

Finally, Eva led them to a clearing where Bambi's scent was strong. Apollo circled the area, his eyes scanning for any sign of the omega. He could feel his excitement building, his heart racing at the thought of finally catching Bambi. He turned to Eva, his voice laced with anticipation, “I can smell him.”

Eva nodded, her face serious, “Yes, Alpha. I can feel his presence. But I fear this is where the trail ends.”

“No matter. He must be here somewhere. Besides,” Apollo grinned wickedly, his eyes glinting with excitement, “I always did like a little challenge.”
