Willow's expression turned solemn as he pondered the question. "To be honest, Amelia, I'm not entirely sure. What I do hope for is that once she is defeated, her tormented soul can finally find peace. It's time for her vengeful heart to rest, relinquishing the anger that has consumed her for so long."
Raegis let out a soft sigh, her eyes reflecting a sense of pity for the Succubus Queen, who had been burdened by anger and resentment for countless years. She understood the destructive power of holding onto such emotions.
Willow's smile was gentle as he continued. "In the end, it is best for one's own well-being to let go of anger and the past. It allows us to find peace within ourselves and embrace the future. I believe it's a sentiment we can all appreciate."
Amelia nodded in agreement, her smile radiant. She had witnessed the transformative power of releasing the weight of guilt and regret firsthand. Letting go was a necessary step towards healing and personal growth.
"Now then," Willow started. "To make the journey, we would have to cross through [Gap Between Giants], then move on to the [The Snowy Hills] before crossing over to the [Swamps] and eventually reaching [The Bed Of Lust] where [Lilith] should be."
Raegis's ears perked up at Willow's mention of their next destinations, a mix of curiosity and child-like innocence evident on her face. "The Gap Between Giants? The Snowy Hills? The Swamps? The Bed of Lust? Where are these places, Willow?"
Willow chuckled softly at Raegis's innocent enthusiasm. "Oh, Raegis, those are the names of the regions we must traverse on our journey. The Gap Between Giants is a vast expanse nestled between towering mountains, where we'll have to navigate treacherous paths and face colossal guardians. The Snowy Hills, as the name suggests, are covered in perpetual snow, with icy winds and hidden dangers awaiting us. The Swamps are murky and dense, teeming with eerie creatures and haunting whispers. And finally, The Bed of Lust is a place consumed by desire and temptation, where the Succubus Queen, Lilith, is said to reside."
Raegis's eyes widened in awe as she tried to comprehend the magnitude of the challenges that lay ahead. "Wow, that sounds incredible! But... how long will it take us to reach these places?"
Willow's smile turned mischievous as he glanced at Amelia. "Well, Raegis, if we were to travel on foot, it would certainly take us a very long time. However, I have a secret trump card." He paused, building anticipation. "I possess the ability to teleport us to the end of the Snowy Hills, which will save us a considerable amount of time. But after that, we'll have to rely on our own feet and wit to continue the journey."
Amelia's expression softened as she heard Willow's words. "I'm glad we have a way to bypass the Gap Between Giants. It's a place that holds... difficult memories for me."
Willow placed a comforting hand on Amelia's shoulder, his voice filled with reassurance. "Amelia, I understand. But we're together now, and I promise you, everything will be okay. We'll face those memories head-on and conquer them together."
Amelia nodded, gratitude shining in her eyes. She trusted Willow's words and knew that their bond as a party would guide them through any adversity they encountered.
Willow then turned his attention to both Raegis and Amelia, his gaze filled with determination. "Before we embark on this journey, we need to become stronger, individually and as a party. Our current rank is C, but to face the challenges that await us, we must strive to reach A-Rank material."
Raegis's ears perked up, her gaze filled with curiosity and excitement. "But how do we become stronger, Willow? What's your plan?"
Willow's thoughtful expression shifted into a mischievous grin as he contemplated Raegis's question. "Well, my original plan was for us to train and grind away in the Mystic Forests until we reached A-Rank. However, that would take quite a long time. We need a faster way to grow stronger now, something that will push us to our limits."
His gaze wandered to a vibrant poster adorning the wall, announcing a highly anticipated tournament taking place in their town. It was scheduled to be held on the Fifth Moon, just a week away, at the prestigious Grand Stadium in sixth avenue. Willow pointed at the poster, his excitement palpable. "Look, my friends! There's a tournament coming up, and I think it's our golden opportunity."
Amelia's eyes widened with curiosity as she read the details on the poster. "What's at stake? What are the prizes, Willow?"
Willow's smile widened, his eyes gleaming with anticipation. "The prizes for winning the tournament are truly remarkable. The first is a Multi-Colored Phoenix's Tear, a legendary gem said to possess incredible healing properties. It's a rare and precious artifact that can revive even the gravest of injuries. The second prize is a hefty sum of 10 Gold Coins, a treasure in its own right. And last but not least, the grand prize is the enigmatic Black Penchant."
Amelia's breath caught in her throat at the mention of the Black Penchant. The magical artifact, of elven origin, was known to enhance one's connection to the spirits. To the elves, such an artifact was a treasure beyond measure. Her eyes shimmered with longing. "A Black Penchant? That would... that would strengthen my bond with the spirits. I... I need that."
Willow nodded, understanding Amelia's eagerness. He couldn't help but wonder if it was even possible to deepen Amelia's already profound connection with the spirits. Nevertheless, this tournament presented a golden opportunity for growth and discovery.
Turning to his companions, Willow's gaze encompassed Raegis and Amelia. "So, what do you both think? Shall we participate in the tournament?"
