I wanted to show you all the thumbnails that preceded the final drawings. This isn't always the case, but there are very few changes from rough to final here. I sketched the thumbnails in my sketchbook almost 2 weeks before starting the full size pieces.
I've done multiple-piece sets like this before but I wanted to do something a bit different. I used a different pencil for the linework on each drawing. The difference is super subtle and comes through in the feel more than the visuals.
