Added 2019-01-18 22:58:41 +0000 UTCWhen I drew rough thumbnails for this scene Spriggan was actually going to be facing off against a giant hercules beetle guy. I switched it to a moth guy, Othello. He's definitely one of the main characters so it made more sense. The beetle guy is important too, but I thought this would frame the conflict more clearly. I also decided to drop a bunch of pages from this already brief preview comic. I want to jump into the story as fast as possible. As i've said in previous posts I wanted to make this short preview not only to whet your appetite but also to get a chance to solidify the visual style. It still serves that purpose without a few extra pages. I don't think there's anything wrong with making big changes on the fly, in comics and in any creative medium. Sometimes you just gotta go with your gut.
