Lore Notes: De Guzman Family and Genetics

A family consisting of a mother, a father and four daughters. They weren't very remarkable until Agnes had a sudden "awakening" leading to all of the family following suit to a lesser extent. each member would go on to be quite successful in their chosen path. While Alma is head of the family it appears that Agnes calls most of the shots. Her success cast a long shadow over her sisters which leads to rather mixed emotions between them.
Tabitha's Notes: De Guzman Family Genetics
The De Guzman's have been shown to have a very special genetic trait. They appear to have unique "Cat Like" eyes. even weirder is that they were not born with them but developed them later in life. Agnes had developed them the earliest in life as a child and Alma, the father, developed them much later, after Agnes did in fact. I believe this trait comes from the father's side of the family although Benedita is the only daughter to not have manifested them. I haven't pinned down what causes this to happen but I believe it to be stress related. The benefits of this trait are easier to discern. All members record vastly improved visual ability, with Ines and Shellie going from legally blind to not really needing glasses at all.
The data obtained from Ines proved to be useful but invasive to implement. At the moment there are only four subjects I deem to be successes and the process to make them is too laborious to be considered worth it. Will need to do further test, hopefully with Agnes next time.
