Cutting Room Floor: Leona Part 2

Leona part 2 was another comic that went through a lot of changes and revisions so I'll just go through some of them here.

Multiple Leonas

I couldn't really settle on how Leona should look (and I'm still not full satisfied with how she looks now) and the first couple of pages  where redone a couple times before this. Don't be surprised of Leona and other characters continue to change throughout the series.

Large Crowds

As you might have noticed, this is the first comic to feature  a large group of people. There's around 30 in total and it took some doing to get it to work and there are obvious limitations, but now that I can do it expect to see more characters on screen from time to time.

Different First Opponent for Roxy 

Roxy's first opponent was something I spent awhile trying to decide on. I didn't want Roxy fighting another Street Fighter/Capcom character but most of the KOF characters i was saving for later. I ultimately settled on Mila from DOA as she felt like a minor enough character to use as fodder. She was also supposed to have a little more involvement after her loss, but I decided it'd just be better if she dissapeared after that.

Rookie Delta Member had smaller role

The Delta Red member was originally only supposed to drive Leona and Mary to Roxy's Bar and disappear from the story but I've decided to expand her role a little by getting her involved in the fight and the overall mystery. She'll still be a minor character(Still doesn't have name) but expect to see more of her in the future. On a Similar note, Blue Mary's fight with the bar members was gonna be shown but I felt it took to much time away from Leona vs Roxy.

Leona was going to remain in Orochi form

I thought Leona fully freaking out on Roxy would be cool but i decided to save a moment like that for later. Expect this to be important for later.

Shadow Lady was originally gonna be more of a minor element

The element of there being two major assailants was just gonna be minor element that Roxy would've mentioned in passing, no mentioning of all the victims like Makoto, Angel and Nadeshiko. A "Shadow Lady" wouldn't have even been mentioned but I decided it'd be a cool idea to run with. It ended up lengthening the ending of the comic a lot though but it was worth it.

  Alternate/Expanded Ending

Before the whole "Shadow Lady" Expansion thing there was supposed to be a segment right after the very ending of the comic but i took it out because the comic was becoming too long. Don't worry though, expect to see it in part 3 which is already being worked on as Tier 2 patrons will know.

and that should be it for now. I'm currently working on a bunch of stuff so look forward to it. Thanks for sticking with me so far.

P.S I will be fixing that random speech bubble with no text on page 151. Just haven't gotten around to that yet. Such an obvious mistake, how did I miss that lol
