Covid-19 Update

Hey guys,

I just wanted to check in and let everyone know whats happening. Where I live at the moment, we are in stage 4 lock down, and it's terrifying. We're not allowed to be out after 8pm, only one person per household can go shopping per day, and more and more people keep getting sick.

A few of you might have heard this, but I recently began doing work for a local studio a couple of days a week. This has reduced the amount of time I can spend on making content here, as you've no doubt noticed.

I would have spoken up sooner, at the beginning I had no idea how long my role would last, but at the moment it's looking like it will follow through the rest of the year. (luckily, I'm one of the few people who still has work coming in)

The patreon's been slowly ramping down while I take outside contracts for awhile now, and also, a bunch of us adult content creators are being singled out, taken down or otherwise asked to 'move along'. If you've been here awhile, you might remember that our little community has been hustled off of Youtube, Tumblr, and now it's looking like Patreon and/or Twitter might be next.

I'm going to keep posting sketches, PSDs of color works and whatever bits are appropriate here to the patreon, so that isn't changing. I still have a few commissions left to do, and they'll all be here.

But there's a problem with only doing commissions. It can burn you out, it doesn't help you build your brand and it's not really the content that most of you joined to support.

Don't get me wrong, I love my commissioners, and I'd have been dead in the water long ago without them. But taking on too many is the reason we haven't had an update for Midnight Movie Night in a long time.

So that's what I'd like to move on to soon. I want to finish the second chapter, and do a 3rd or even a 4th one, and then be able to release a print copy or a compilation of works.

I'd like to try my hand at more animation projects, self directed, and possibly even voiced by some of the amazing adult VA community I've been in contact with recently.

This is the content I'm sure we're all excited about, and that's what I'd like to bring you more of.

Most of the patreon funding is going right through to making sure I can have food delivered to the house, since some members of our household are immunocompromised, meaning that infection is likely to be the end of them.

I'll be making my way through the backlog of commissions steadily, when I can, but please understand, I can't give it 100% of my time right now, and I want to find a balance between personal projects, my job, and the drawings I owe.

When I have that under control, maybe we'll see the sketch threads return (boy do I miss those)

I'm doing streams on Twitch just to unwind between other things, we're making our way through Ghost of Tsushima right now.

I hope you are all doing well, staying safe, and that the world stops being a fucking disaster for all of us at some point VERY soon.
