Say hello to my halloween costume this year :) I love the pleasures and challenges of shooting in all ways, from high pressure shoots with complete strangers with particular needs/goals to aimlessly wandering with friends with no expectations and an open mind. This one was a little in between. With my housemate, I knew the look and that I wanted it to be at my house and around the land we live on. I thought maybe we'd tear off her wings and she'd be a true fallen angel vibe, but we decided to stay clean. I still haven't mastered the blood recipe without it staining everything for a couple of days.
I love this time of year and to see how it starts to shift what kind of art I want to see and create.

Wow, I couldn't have said it better. While I was reading about angels, I read that the Devil was said to be God's favorite angel before they fell. I had never heard that before, maybe it's well known, but I love it
