Compersion // on the Yuba River π¦ Pt. 1
Added 2023-08-29 20:15:52 +0000 UTCFrom my time on the Yuba River this summer with friends. Somehow, it's technically only the 2nd time I've ever photographed a couple, and again I don't understand how that could be because I love it. How does this set make you feel?
I've been learning about compersion. Compersion is defined as: our wholehearted participation in the happiness of others. It is the sympathetic joy we feel for somebody else, even when their positive experience does not involve or benefit us directly. Thus, compersion can be thought of as the opposite of jealousy and possessiveness.

Bear paws! Me too Ben, it's become a huge topic to sit with and embrace. I like it and when I don't, I fake it 'till I make it or talk about it.
