Glamour 0.39
Added 2021-07-31 18:09:34 +0000 UTCWe can't keep breaking records with every update, but at least we can more or less keep up with our schedule and update Glamour every month for over three years. We've managed to release an update this month too, even if at the very end of it.
While 0.39 might not break our record, it's pretty close to 0.38, both when it comes to the total amount of images, and events.
Now here are the events we've added in 0.39:
New pool events when Ann and Lisa are sunbathing nearby. Alice will come up to Kate and offer to have some fun.
In the evenings, when no one is watching TV, Alice will offer to watch something.
Kate can now do yoga with Ann.
Playing as Max, you're seen a series of events during Alice's show. Now these events exist from Kate's perspective. This whole series of events only took us one day to implement from Kate's perspective, by the way.
Kate can give Ann massages in the evenings.
In all of these events, Kate will have a choice between encouraging or punishing Max's behavior. Once Max's authority goes up or down enough, it will unlock new punishment events. You won't get locked in your initial choice, at any point you can change your mind and influence Max's authority in the other way to trigger events you haven't seen.
You can check Max's authority parameter in the Villa quest, which will also track progress with every series of events of this update.

This update is more technically complicated than our usual linear progress. There's still only one story/one save file, but there's also a new authority mechanic. If you like it, we might add similar things in future updates.
0.40 will be focused on Max, and if you want, we can add a similar mechanic into Max's game. Since this is a relatively new mechanic, we had to wait until 0.39 is released so you can try it out before we can start the poll about it, so we haven't had the poll for the focus of 0.40 yet.
We spent a lot of effort on this update and we hope you like it.

I agree, I'm waiting for Kate content but he seems more focused on Max. I will cancel my subscription for a couple of months, waiting for a real Kate new update...

And the hint is also that this feature will be included in the v40 update August - so WE can choose Max's priority as we play his game.ps elevate Alice to 1000 and Kate will put Max in his place!

Given how controversial the Kate/Max updates are for either side, it feels like bad form to make an update for one, which basically only has content for the other. It's like making a Max update and have him sitting in the hall at college watching Kate do stuff. That would go down well too, I am sure...
