We didn't want the male to begin with. The original male failed miserably, and now here's Max, taking over. As for the "schedule", it hasn't been accurate in months. Kate updates replaced, Kate updates focused on Max, Max updates getting extended for months on end, there is no schedule. As for your statement "by this standard it should be 2 months worth", the key word is SHOULD, meaning it likely won't. Reality is, by this standard it WILL include lots of Max... LMAO

Chris Pulling, honestly it's not inside information, it's schedule that's been running for awhile now. 50/50 Kate's update is in January, by this Standard it should be 2 months worth.

Chris Pulling, where I'm different, I don't care about the male, the male is just a important component. Heck in time DS could even expand the massage quest to allow players to avoid it or start with a character the player chooses to be first. It's not really much of a issue.

its supose to alternating months, but DS keeps expanding the updates so we will likely get 2 months worth of kate in Jannuary and Febuary. Meanwhile we get attractive girls and eventual merging of ladies.

It also doesn't help that it seems that the *only* way to advance Kate's story is for her to fuck her roommate's BF, at least as of the last update I played... Not interested in getting Kate with *any* guys to be honest, with the *barest* possibility of Max. And even then, only in a Max playthrough, rather than in a Kate playthrough honestly.

It wouldn’t take rocket science to keep the losing two in the game, let’s say Mike loses, simple he gets a job at the cafe with Vicky, she pays him in cash but in exchange for playing free gigs there with his band. If Dennis loses he’s the guy who likes sports and keeping fit, he gets a job at Julia’s fitness club as a personal trainer... 🤷‍♂️ Plus removing them from the college would mean that they aren’t bound by the “no relationships with classmates” clause which is a positive in a way, so ship together Mike and Helen for example (she’s the party girl isn’t she? And Mike is the band guy... it kinda fits logically 🤷‍♂️) I mean Mike could leave the college not because he was thrown out but because he likes Helen and wants to be in a relationship with her 👍🏻

While I agree with Lukumo’s post above I want to add my take on this.... The game seems heavily Max focusses right now because of the dev team using “Thematic Updates”, I lowered my monthly support because I don’t agree with this style of development, yes it’s quicker but it does nothing for the game itself and is directly responsible for the story arcs that haven’t been continued on in ages.... I can understand the frustration from Kate fans because I will actually agree that Max has been in every update (or close enough) for a while, yes I’m a Max fan but I will admit that on the Kate side of things Max has been a heavy focus, this part is true.... so for Kate fans if I’m honest I understand where your frustration is coming from... 👍🏻 Here’s an idea let’s go against my original thoughts of not putting out any polls and let’s have a new poll which asks the question again regarding “Themed Updates” or “Story Progression Updates”.... what I mean by the latter is that each update has a “plot goal” in order to get there Kate (example) will have to advance with different characters to reach this goal and not to focus everything on a single character, having to interact with different characters to get to the said goal of the planned update, this means that characters who have NO content currently can get added into a planned story arc and we can see some progress from some characters who have no dev time so far.... Here’s an update idea.... Karen wants (what’s her face? Angela??? The annoying one who runs the cheerleader squad? 🤷‍♂️) to no longer be in charge anymore, I’m order to help out Kate has to interact with the other girls in the squad to vote a certain way, Angela comes to Kate for help to get the support of the other girls and in order to earn the girls’ vote to keep Angela as squad captain they will each ask Kate for a favour in exchange, the favour could be anything from sexual to taking their future college punishments for a week to buying a nice dress for Jane or something, as a reward Kate gets to see Jane in the dress and build their relationship or Ruby needs financial assistance to help her with a college fine in exchange Kate can ask Ruby for something... at the end of the update because Kate sides with Angela over Karen then she’s made a permanent enemy in Karen who will humiliate Kate every chance she gets in future.... an update like this will advance relations with multiple characters at once instead of just focusing on a single one, who knows maybe Sophie will ask for free massages in exchange for her vote... also Angela will owe Kate big time for her help 🤷‍♂️

Its times like this i'm glad I'm so adaptable, had this not been the case i would have ended my support 2 years back. But fortunately i simply adapted to the the new direction and haven't regretted it since. Kate's a awesome character and i will continue to support her story line. But i am quite greed for this art and as such having updates featuring my favorite characters twice is to irresistible. Thus i am also enjoying the Max story line as well and look forward to continuation of that story line as well. Not to mention the crossovers and potential pairings between the characters. Looking forward to seeing the updates in the future.

If it was just going to affect the Max Storyline they could just be booted out as he has had no interaction with them. The only need to give them a reason to leave is if it also affects the Kate Storyline. Which probably means that the Kate Storyline is no more. This is likely just the forerunner into turing the college into being nothing more than a harem for Max.

I hear you. I liked the old game about Kate. Then I had to wait every other update to get Kate. I despise Max. And now we have to wait for special characters to be updated on each? So, are you saying I get a Kate update every third, forth, or fifth release? SMH I should probably stick to single protagonist games. I guess I could cancel my support, and when he does a Kate update, join again, then cancel, then join, wash rinse repeat. No point in paying for the bits I don't play.

Well, maybe since this is a vote to validate the decision to expand Max’s story and make Kate not much more than an embellished NPC, maybe Dark will actually accept the results as opposed to previous votes that didn’t go his way. So, in my final vote I went with Dennis and Mike. Fewer males means less competition for Max, but it wasn’t as if there was ever going to be any to begin with. Nor, was there going to be any further expansion of the school stories. I have canceled my support so with two days left here I say good luck

You shouldn't boot them off College completely. Else the whole College will just turn into a harem for Max. Just move the winners (or losers in this case) to a different classroom. Maybe still have them appear on corridors/medicals/etc. College still needs male students beside Max, since its punishment system relies on humiliation.

Well at least we now know that there's no pretense anymore that the Kate story line hasn't been completely abandoned in favour of all Max, all the time. I had already reduced my subsrciption from $40 to $5 and now I'm cancelling completely.

Can't add a Second Class and transfer students there? You keep removing content on one side to please the other just expand the game. You will get more support that way

i am glad he is writing them out rather than deleting them - but i'd kinda like to have the choice in game. Yeah - i know that would be huge but maybe once the game is "finished" we could go back and put in an option to choose who leaves within the game. Keep up the great work :)
