Glamour 0.32
Added 2020-11-25 18:35:21 +0000 UTCIt's time to finally release 0.32. We were trying to make a smaller update, but somehow it ballooned into one of our biggest updates yet. Record amount of new images and text, or at least close to it.
0.32 is focused on Max, Lisa, and Olivia by the pool.
Along with new content, we've also made a lot of changes to the offline version.
- Various interface improvements.
- Dialogs options from the online client have been ported to the offline version.
- Fixed a bug with a stuck sound playing on a loop.
- Settings should properly work in the android version now.
- Fixed a bug where the android version would sometimes not display new images after updating.
0.32 took more dev time than we expected, but 0.33 will still be focused on Olivia staying overnight in the villa because of the 0.32 story and we don't want to leave the cliffhanger for too long. 0.33 will be mostly late night events with adult stuff. There will also be some events with another character, but saying their name would spoil the ending of 0.32, so you'll have to play the game to find out!
Also, in the process of making 0.32 we came up with an idea and put up it for a vote for our $40 Patrons. The idea was having Lisa and Olivia graduating high school early so they would join college. We had three options: keep everything as is, move them to college but put them into another class so Max/Kate don't interact with them, or add Lisa and Olivia to the same class with Max, Alice, and Kate. The last option won with two thirds of the vote. That means pretty soon we'll have a poll about two least interesting classmates you want to boot from the class to be replaced with Lisa and Olivia.

2020-11-26 08:00:43 +0000 UTCAfter work I'll mess around and see if I can reboot the game and restore missing pictures. Aside from that I'm looking forward to exploring this update when I get home. In terms of progress and direction I'm enjoying the direction of the game and the development paths. However it's ironic, 2 years ago I was thinking of pulling out of supporting DS over glamour but decided to give it ago. 2 years later I haven't regretted any of my choices. I supported male character, to expand consumer market, because At the time supporters were jumping ship by the hundreds because they wanted a male lead. 2 years later I'm enjoying jumping between male and female leads. Finding myself looking forward to the numerous character crosses and events the future holds. Subsequently the having a more storyline driven game and less art is now something that's starting to annoying me. I had no problem with direction of the game, but I supported the outcome of the vote regardless. Now people are complaining about the lack of story. The corresponding inclusion of max and having access to same characters multiple times is a definite boom to the game. I'm interested in future developments. Nor am I in any rush to pan out the college, but it wouldn't hurt to continue expansion of the college and develope weekend events both areas are unfortunately quite bare. Regardless I'm enjoying the the current direction of this game and looking forward to continued development.

One can only suspend disbelief so far before you start rolling your eyes. Sadly, my eyes have been rolling with this game so much I am used to it, but I don't have to like it, or put up with it.

2020-11-25 23:45:25 +0000 UTCSadly I have to agree with you. Assuming the same time is taken for the next updates it will be late Jan or early Feb before any new Kate content drops. I didn’t even bother playing 0.30 & 0.31 as they weren’t really Kate updates and I have no interest in the Max side of the game so that's a long wait without new content. Even when/if we get the next Kate update it looks like that will again be focused on Max with Lisa/Olivia forced into the college. I had already reduced my $40 tier to $5 but I'll be cancelling entirely now.

He is having "Private" lessons from both Veronica and Karren. So we will need at lease one update where Max can enter college to join Alice and Kate, Before Lisa and Olivia can join them. Also Having Max and then Lisa joining Alice in class could be seen as stretching the "No Relationship" Rule ! I know that they are "only" housemates, But the fact that they ARE Housemates should be a cause of concern for the college in their attempt to control/mold the students. The "No Relationship" Rule has not come up in the Max storyline so I see no problem there. But it has, in the Kate storyline. Also Max still has No Stats for any subjects that the college teaches

2020-11-25 19:22:37 +0000 UTCSo, the game becomes even more Max-Centric and the next Kate update, if there is one, has been pushed further down the road. After two years of support for a game that had one of the most beautiful and fascination characters in any game I have played, I have been continually frustrated by the move away from Kate's story and the ever-increasing intrusion of Max. Now, with the inclusion of Olivia and Lisa with the all too easy and illogical early graduation I suppose any progression of the other classmates, especially Sophie, and Kate's teachers is down the drain. I am sorry. I am out. Dark Silver's decision to let only the $40 tier members drive the story is a slap in the face to those of us $5 to $20 members who have been clamoring for more Kate. Maybe I will check back in a year.
