Offline version doesn't have any connection with our server and doesn't update automatically. When you play an offline version of the game, your progress is saved locally on your PC. Save files will be compatible with 0.10 and, hopefully, future offline versions of the game.
Online version isn't going anywhere and you can still use it and all its advantages: automatic updates, patches and fixes, cross platform play and cloud save files. And if you prefer an offline version so you never have to rely on our server, you have this option available too.

I waited for the offline version from the very start of the game, so I'm super happy now... I love the game and I love Kate!! just one question: Play as Alex is mandatory to let the 2 caracters meet, because, honestly I really like to play as Kate and I don't want "betraid" her with Alex... I'm loosing too many events if I play only as Kate???

2018-12-26 09:34:42 +0000 UTCI finished the offline version "Kate's Path". It only takes a fraction of the time compared to the online version. Do not know if it was because I played from the beginning? Only drawback, I have no money and the romance relationship (Ruby, Jane and Helen) are not developed and Kate has not made an online course yet. In online version they are fully developed (250) and therefore also the many money (40,000). This time (offline version) I had no problems with "Kate takes a shower, bathes and Nick comes in". I finished the game from beginning to end in about 12 hours.
