I appreciate your comment, as I do everyone who commented. But I really wish people would actually watch the video and my response to it before judging me or my motives. I explain in the video why I chose to react to it, and I how I felt about it afterwards. I purposefully did not post this video on YouTube, and it did not benefit me at all to post this on Patreon. In fact, I probably lost a few patrons after posting it. Great suggestion for 'Adult Child'. It popped up in my video recommendations recently. I believe it was a pre-debut song, but so well done...puls having Jin join RM & Suga was great! You don't see the 3 of them in any recent songs. Maybe they were trying to figure out back then what roles Jin would play in the group since Suga & RM were obviously composers and rappers.

i haven’t watched this post yet, and truthfully i haven’t decided if i will watch it yet. that being said, i do want to express that i don’t care that you’ve seen it, expensive girl is not supposed to be some urban legend that only people up to a certain point have seen. however, there’s something about reactors reacting to pieces that namjoon personally took the time to delete off of the platforms they were posted to and made it a point to never bring them up again to then have reactors profit off of them through youtube monetization or patreon patrons that doesn’t sit right with me and will probably never sit right with me. i do know that this is more than just a reaction to the song though, so i do appreciate that. i do also know that you would never react to something “cringy” or “gimmicky” like this for views, so i know not to misinterpret your intentions. i appreciate you giving your thoughts as you always do! i mainly wrote this comment to give some feedback that’s not super defensive or protective. you’re allowed to view these things, you are free to do whatever you want in your free time, i just feel weird when people profit from them.

Mono saved my life and I listened to it on repeat for 3 months straight when it first came out. Armys just got mono it’s 116th #1 in the world, his twitter posts get 2 million likes just like the other members, and as I’m writing this armys are celebrating #1000dayswithRM to celebrate the day he changed his names from rap monster to become the phenomenal artist he is now. There’s millions of people he’s influenced and continues to influence in amazing ways. Maybe you need to follow the right people on your social medias and stop generalizing millions of people just because you don’t see the love he gets on your timeline (also remember that you tailor your own content, who you follow, what type of content you see). I’m full OT7 btw, and it would break me if he left bangtan for some reason. He’s a beautiful lyricist and vital member of the group, and to say nobody cares is wrong. If it was another member, I would feel the same exact way about an older cringey song. The beautiful thing about Namjoon is that we’ve been able to see his growth. Even with his name change from rap monster to RM, he decided to become a producer, songwriter, and musician that wasn’t limited to a name that people would expect aggression from. He’s grown, he’s matured, he’s learned his lessons, he’s apologized. It’s not up to you to decide whether people can experience something or not. Armys need to be able to learn for themselves bangtan’s roots, their pasts, their setbacks and controversies, no matter how controversial some things may be. We cannot and should not erase history, especially when it’s an essential part of who Namjoon has become today: a sincere artist that has honed his craft after years of trials and hardships, victories and growth. We should be confident in the fact that people can learn about these things without feeling threatened about it unless you believe Namjoon truly hasn’t changed and is at risk for a ruined reputation. His actions speak louder than any song lyrics he may have rapped years and years ago. He is not defined by meaningless song covers, and you’re acting like he is. Let DT or any other army experience and decide for themselves. I’m sorry if this seemed harsh or rant-y, I really understand that it can be frustrating and embarrassing when it comes to things like this, but we need to have faith in the person Namjoon has become and trust that those who truly love bangtan and their actual music, and who are willing to see the artists they have turned out to be won’t hate them for something like this. That's a cover and many cover songs for other rapper that has not very nice parts,, RM apologized many times for that song and because of that won't hear it since it's a moot point by now. wish you reacted to 4 o'clock instead, he had beautiful vocals in it and V did a great job insisting he sings part of it instead of just rapping

My timeline has always been full of love for the boys no matter what they do and i always block out those who are solos and mantis. This just shows how little ARMY thinks of RM, if it was any of the other members that made a song that they were ashamed of you would never hear about it again. But every single time there is a new BTS reactor and they seems to like RM as a potential Bias ARMY request this, I don't know if it's to say that the other members are better so forget about RM or what but I've been in this Fandom for about 3 years now and I can say this with conviction RM gets the least amount of love and respect regardless of what he does for the group. Every ARMY eventually hears this--my only hope is that they understand it's a cover from back when RM was young and had a chip on his shoulder and still felt like he had to prove he could be a "hardcore hip hop rapper." As far as I know, DT has never done any of the songs I requested. I requested Euphoria or Begin when DT just started doing bts videos, but he has never done those. Even if he doesn’t do those, I still support him and I have been his patreon supporter when he was just starting here. I hope I'm not coming across as criticizing, because that is not my intent. Every ARMY, at some point or other, will encounter these songs as we deep dive into the boys' discography. If you find them on your own, then you learn a bit more about their past. If you don't, then that's good, too. I just don't think it should be pushed like some sort of humorous rite of passage for new reacters by some ARMY. I don't blame DT for digging into it, or for sharing his thoughts on it. If I ran across something "questionable" that may or may not mar a stellar reputation of someone I admire, I would certainly dig into it, develop my own thoughts about it, and perhaps share those thoughts with like-minded people.

All armys have learned about and experienced these songs.. why is it so wrong for him to do the same? Yes it’s controversial, and yes rm deleted it, but the growth is undeniable and Namjoon owned up to it and apologized. He’s a different person now and there’s no reason to attack people for exploring the Namjoon from years ago.. it doesn’t matter. It’s in the past and has stayed in the past. I really appreciate that you understand the place RM was coming from when he made these covers. Understandably, he's embarrassed by these songs, and I wish ARMY would stop requesting them. I get that the beats are catchy, and we all go through that hormonal and experimental stage in our development. But NONE of us like having the most embarrassing moments during those stages constantly brought up and thrown in our faces. It's rude and disrespectful for ARMY to constantly tout these songs and keep them alive "for a laugh". And let's be real, no one is requesting them because the songs are good, they're requesting them to punk RM.
