Hello supporters!
Guess this would be our first proper writeup for our game development. Thus we will be sharing our progress and thoughts during the development processes.
We will start this journal on how we decided to remove originally planned game mechanics. Originally, we are heavily inspired by AliceSoft's Evenicle. One of the mechanics we originally want to implement is the skill points (Figure 1) where players only allows to select/deselect a certain number of skills based on the character's skill points.

Upon internal discussions with our close supporters, who also RPG eroge gamer, we decided to remove such mechanics. Thus opted back to the standard skill acquisation mechanic and no longer having limited skill slots. This is due to the fact that we need to ensure that we do not overengineered the RPG where storytelling is the priority. Probably that's for the future, but as for now, given this is a one man project with limited resources, we decided to make the gameplay as simple as possible while still retain certain acceptable level of challenges.
As for today, we are at 80% done with the databases. We would expect for the first alpha test to test out the game balancing somewhere around end of this year. Hope us the best!
