Boyfriend Asylum Solo Show MEGAPOST!

As many of you know I opened my recent solo show "Boyfriend Asylum" for the month of July. It was a massive undertaking and ultimately a great success!! However, I neglected almost everything other than painting in order to make my vision a reality, yes including 2 months of patreon updates. I was painting every day for 12 to sometimes 15 hour days in our garage studio in the 90 degree heat of San Jose California AND LOVING IT!! What a fantastic experience. It's true that 2 main things lead to improvement: daily practice, and doing something outside of your comfort zone. I did both in these past weeks working on "Boyfriend Asylum", building new cradled panels in all custom sizes, creating the largest scale work I have ever painted, making flash for tattoo, planning three events in one month, and problem solving for the unexpected...
